This policy covers information collected by Material Flow & Conveyor Systems, Inc. including all the associated materialflow.com group of web sites and services. Products and services are purchased via the materialflow.com site operated by Material Flow & Conveyor Systems, Inc.

  • Customer Information: Information is collected at the time of a sale in order to complete the sale and deliver the products. Customer lists are not sold or distributed to third parties.
  • Credit Card Transactions: Credit card transactions are processed by Verisign. This highly respected and time tested professional payment authorization service was chosen for added security and reliability. Only the purchase price and the credit card information provided by the customer is supplied to Verisign. Information collected during transactions is maintained in their database for accounting and billing purposes. Information from these transactions is not released to third parties. Material Flow & Conveyor Systems, Inc. does not maintain a copy of the credit card information on its servers.
  • Web Site Log Files: Web site log files are generated that collect the IP Address of the visitor, date, time and pages visited. Aggregate reports for web site visitors are generated that do not contain personally identifiable information. These log files are used for the exclusive purpose of monitoring server loading and content delivery.
  • Cookies: Internet "cookies" are used for tracking website traffic via Google Analytics software. These cookies remain on the user's system and are automatically retrieved when a user visits at a later time. The web store uses cookies that keep track of items ordered. They are used so a user can shop and maintain a list of items in their "shopping cart" and have a total due calculated. A user does not have to supply any personal information unless they decide to complete an order and pay via credit card. Orders can also be printed and paid by mail or fax without entering any information. These cookies are not used for any other purpose. Disabling "cookies" in your browser settings will prevent "cookies" from being placed on your system.
  • Mailing Lists: Material Flow & Conveyor Systems, Inc. may maintain subscription mailing lists at our discretion. This information will be used for internal purposes exclusively, and will not be disclosed to third parties. All users will be able to easily cancel their subscriptions via return e-mail by simply replying to our mailing with the word "unsubscribe" in the subject line of the reply. Users may be added based on requesting information or making a purchase and these users will thank us when they see the great offers in our newsletter which include unadvertised specials, closeout items and used equipment not available elsewhere.
  • User Registration: Material Flow & Conveyor Systems, Inc. sites do not require user registration to access content at the materialflow.com group of web sites. Registration is offered as a convenience during the online ordering process. Once registered, certain portions of the order form will be filled in automatically to facilitate quick and easy ordering. This service is optional, and is used at the sole discretion of the website visitor. This user registration information is not used for any other purpose. The restrictions on the dissemination of personal information are not subject to change. The policy is updated occasionally but the changes will not reduce the privacy protection of visitors. If there are changes made in the future the changes will not affect information already collected.
